Thanks for these nostalgic memories. As someone who spent 6 years as an early morning paper boy, I love this bike. We used to call those high risers ,Marlin bars. Not sure why.However they allowed you to carry the newspapers in a cradle sitting on the top tube and still have the height to steer.cheers,Ian,Melbourne
ReplyDeletetamagosan/ right?! i always wonder if people dont secure it, someone could just take it from there, I've heard stories. Bunggee cords are a basket's BFF (+ok and coffee mugs...)
