Velcro.
The internet without cat pictures is like the telephone without gossip.
Velcro turned 4 years last month.
Adopted from the SF SPCA 3.5yrs ago, she is a beautiful black cat, with super soft fur – rather shy to any strangers.
Likes to stand in front of the TV during ESPN or basketball games and follow the ball as if it was
a catnip laser ball. She is a jock, and means the feline world to me.
Got some comments asking for more of Velcro, so here she is.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty! My "Kitty" died nearly a year ago and the hole in my heart is big enough to drive a truck through. But a neighborhood cat comes to visit me almost every day. I entice it with the smallest amounts of Kitty's leftover kibble, which I have stored in glass jars in an attempt to keep it fresh as long as possible.
ReplyDeletethat is very nice story, thanks for sharing +sorry for your kitty loss
Deleteit must be a good feeling to keep that tradition going with your new cat friend, and I hope that friendship lasts a very long time :)
<3 thank you all :)
ReplyDeleteUtterly charming. I had a lovely cat, Mr. Kitty, who adopted me many years ago. He tried to act all cool and detached but over the course of many months he went from spying on me through the shrubs in front of my apartment building to slipping through the front door of the stairwell and following me up to my apartment. He usually slept with his head tucked against my neck at night and his purring lulled me to sleep. I developed asthema, and after 7 years together he went to live with another family who loved him until the day he died. I miss the quiet presence of a good cat.
ReplyDeleteaw what a touching story <3 thx for sharing karen! cats are certainly quiet and very present. such unique loving pets. xxom
