Goodwill's Bike-oween
This year's theme is bike-oween. Not sure if that has been a previous promotion on windows at Goodwills, but the DIY+wallet-friendly is the way to go.
The one located on Van Ness +Mission is in full bike-mode. These bike-oween window ads have been up for a few days, I hadn't been off the bus to snap some fotos, but had the chance today:

On the flip-side, this local magazine's blog has some links to buy new stuff ranging from h+m to jcrew. I have never been to an h+m and that's OK. I think the little custome-collage post they did was pretty cute: Look of the Week: Pee-wee Herman Halloween Costume for Him and Her

For the Castro-banned halloween party generations, 7x7 also has some event-guide post with some local festivities: Where to Dress Up, Party, and Get Down This Halloween

This Saturday there is SF's local brewery Speakeasy’s 2012 Haunted Halloween Party in the BayviewMichael Jackson thriller zombie dance-off in Oakland,

Critical Mass
Halloween is one of the best masses of the year as you get to see everyone and their alter ego out +about. Well, that could actually be year-round because it is San Francisco after all :)
Meets every last-Friday, 530PM on @Justin Herman Plaza.

  1. Great post. I saw the Goodwill windows a few weeks back. Very cool and innovative. I didn't even know Goodwill did such cool things. A great theme and it certainly grabbed my attention.
