-FAIL-
This is my first attempt to include my face in one of the panda ‹no timer, on a moving-bike, self shotshots›. It cracked me up when I saw the results.Actually, not the first time(!). As I was typing this post, my memory misfired & I had to dig through old files. I realized such lack of panda skill hasn't changed. I found these from a few years back.
February 2005
I'm horrible with self-shots but thought I'd give the panda a chance :D why not? I feel safer for my clumsy self with the occasional pedal-shoe shots instead of aiming at the face and getting houses upside down, ha!. Something about the character, texture & color of the streets. Anyways. Here are three very cool panda shots, because they are so inspirational in so many ways. AND-these local riders make it look oh-so-easy ♥Bike love!!
some advanced pandedge there. to get both your own face and that of the person behind you takes the art to a whole new level. i almost achieved it once, long ago...

Silly girl! That "serious" shot really works. I'm surprised you didn't stick your tongue out, though. ;)
ReplyDeleteGood piece. You crack me up!
Those are amazing! I usually go for pedal shots, too, but might get brave and try a face shot one of these days (though I don't have a Panda...)
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about it, I've not even tried this genre yet--too many things to juggle. I'm still working on walking and chewing gum at the same time!

ReplyDeleteLove your blog! Wish I was back near SF and away from the cultural wastelands of Arizona, but the money thing is the problem.
ReplyDeleteNever tried this before. I'd probably fall off my bike :)
ReplyDeleteYou give the whole self-portrait with bike series a completely new meaning. I always associated it with portraying self-love but this just portrays the love of cycling. Just look at the smiles of Mr Panda and daughter ... Oh, and I love the red skirt!
