Friedrichshain, East Berlin (former Soviet Sector) and bike highway.
The small cafe which is by far the single best cup in Berlin with ample seating (summer time) and bike parking.
They have one of three Synessco machines in Europe and they use it oh so well.
Piccolo (the Berlin Gibraltar) is the weapon of choice.
They supply about 5 other cafes in town and do the roasting on spot.
I got some lucky timing since i seem to show up when Yumi is doing her thing.
Where the magic happens.

aw I love their sign and the aesthetics of the place!! I'd love to bike there for an espresso :)
ReplyDeleteI too am in love with the sign juxtaposed against that old simple building. There is nothing better than a well designed world...well, maybe a coffee at said place on a lovely European afternoon...
