after a life time in the Northeast- I think I could handle a july like that just fine. 90 degrees can suck it. I much prefer spring and fall anyway here. Plus as I've heard for so many years from West coasters- " I can drive to the heat or snow whenever I want." I'll take it AND that bike lane too.( I went to a wedding in late june. Flew in the SF wearing a tank dress and tiny NYC summer cardie. Froze my ass off that night. Next day up in the valley in a sari and sweated like a big. If I had known I would have been more thoughtful about my clothing choices although saris are made to sweat in so that would have remained the same... mama v
I'm so confused. Is this San Francisco or Philadelphia? What the heck is up with that SEPTA trolly?
Nevermind. I Googled. F Market Historic blah blah blah. I bet that can be really confusing to the schizophrenics.
Ah yes, layers, layers. Seems like I start out the morning in foggy Glen Park and shed various items through the Mission and downtown...
You know what Mark Twain said- "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco."
mamaV/ LOL, yes June is strange like that!!oh this weather is great. I love the super foggy cold summers, but I think there is only a small % of us that really do love that.Adam/ ah yes, +there are plenty of them around here...we have all international trains, you can close your eyes and suddenly an Italian one will cruise by :Dtamagosan/ arent we the super extraoirdinaires of the layering sciences?! ;-)cpt hairdo/ mark twain and nikola tesla were friends, can you imagine? seems to me that twain was pretty charming to be around with his sense of humor♥thanks for stopping by!
I am so jealous of your July, here in 90F+ yucky humidity Boston!
velouria/ well, thatd be nice from time to time. here, we dont go much above mid80s or below 50° - je eeee ;-)
Sort of like our early June in Flagstaff. I was wearing gloves on my bike every morning. The cool weather will probably beginning rearing its head mid-August. Anyway, love the public transit shots and the painted bike lane.
